El Rigobertos Taco Shop: Authentic Mexican Flavor in Los Alamos

We ordered to go because the inside didn't look too cozy to be honest. HOWEVER! The food was amazing, especially the adobada and birra. My wife's chorizo was good...maybe just a tad overcooked for her preference. Rice and beans very flavorful, too. Love salsa to go container availability. Definitely recommend.

Found this little place while we were out doing the walking tour of the Manhattan Project. Stopped in for lunch and was quite impressed. Service was fast. Food was absolutely delicious and the portions were amazing! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area for a lunch.

2 delicious burritos for about 8 dollars each or less. My favorite was the fish and I don’t normally even like fish. Nice-sized pieces of perfectly cooked and flavored fish! The inside is not welcoming so take it to go and eat it with a beer next door. Expect a line at lunch given its deserved popularity

I've been to Rigo's approximately 3 bajillion times since I moved to Los Alamos 5 years ago and I have never one time been disappointed. Do you like delicious burritos? Do you like a salsa bar? Do you like getting your food lightning fast even when the line is out the door? Then you will LOVE Riggy's. The California burrito is my personal fave and you must try the asada fries once.

The food was so so delicious here I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to eat an authentic mexican taco or burrito meal! I had a taquito meal which had 4 taquitos, beans, rice. My husband got a ground beef chimichanga which also had beans and rice with picamo de Gallo & lettuce. The horchata was good as well!! The service was really fast. The restrooms were really clean especially for being an older building! The price gor the food wasn't bad we paid $26 for two adults. This was the first time we have gone here or have even heard about it but from the pictures and the reviews here on google were good so we decided to try it out. We are not from Los alamos but if we were to come back this is somewhere I'd eat again!

The food was exceptional delicious, well-prepared, and served promptly. The staff were attentive and efficient. While the atmosphere was fairly plain and could benefit from a touch more warmth or character, the main issue was the state of the toilets, which fell short of the otherwise excellent experience.

Got the rolled tacos and carne asada fries, both were large portions at a good price. Great place to order out and take food to bathtub brewing or home. Fast service. Interior decor is pretty basic.

If you like hole-in-the-wall vibes, amazing food, and good prices you have to check this place out!! I had some of their tacos and they must season them with magic. LOVE the vintage atmosphere & food!
